Questions, suggestions and error reports all go to one inbox.
Email hello@tradesmancalculator.com. We read every message.
Report an error
If a calculator gives a result you think is wrong, please include:
- the page address;
- the inputs you entered, exactly as typed;
- the result the calculator gave;
- the result you expected, and where that number comes from (a code table, a manufacturer’s data sheet or your own working).
We check every report against the calculator’s written spec. Confirmed errors are fixed, covered by a new test and listed in the changelog. The methodology page explains the process.
Suggest a calculator
Tell us the job, what you measure and what you need to know at the end. We read every suggestion, and the most-requested jobs get built first.
What we cannot help with
We cannot review plans, approve a design or tell you whether a specific job will pass inspection. Your local building department and a licensed professional are the right people for that.
